NWC 46 Riyadh Water Projects with Waterworks Valves

The National Water Company (NWC), represented by its Central Cluster, has launched 46 water and sanitation projects in the Riyadh region, spanning over 2,900 km of pipelines at a total cost of more than SAR 1.6 billion, as part of its strategic initiative to enhance water and environmental infrastructure and expand service coverage. This ambitious package comprises 23 water projects—covering key Riyadh districts such as Al Mahdia, Al Rimal, Al Bayan, Al Sharq, Tuwaiq, Al Arid, Banban, Al Rawdah, King Abdulaziz Quarter, Al Hamra, Al Yarmouk, Al Munsiyah, Al Falah, Al Masif, Al Narjis, Arid, and Leban, as well as additional areas in Al Majmaa, Al Zulfi, Al Dawadmi, Al Rayn, Al Diriyah, Al Ayina, and Al Jubaila—entailing nearly 2,000 km of water lines at a cost exceeding SAR 718 million. In parallel, 23 wastewater projects are underway in Riyadh and surrounding governorates, including districts such as Al-Hada, Al-Taawun, Al-Ma’azir, Al-Malaga, Al-Rayyan, Al-Arid, Al-Qairawan, Tuwaiq, Badr, Leban, Hettin, Arqa, Al-Quds, King Abdullah, and Okaz, along with areas in Wadi Al-Dawasir, Al-Sulayel, Dharma, Mizahmiyah, Majma’a, Dawadmi, and Diriyah, with more than 970 km of pipelines at a total cost exceeding SAR 890 million.

These integrated projects are a core part of NWC’s efforts to fortify the water distribution system, reduce environmental impacts, and secure water sustainability in alignment with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030. Collaborating closely with local partners in Saudi Arabia, Metalsin has been providing a wide range of valves for water supply and wastewater treatment—including gate valves, globe valves, check valves, butterfly valves, strainers, and various hydraulic control valves—to support these critical infrastructure developments.
